Well this Halloween I am donating my time. I will be the designated driver for the crew. It’s my favorite holiday and I am deciding to give a little what many people would call Christmas spirit in giving a good safe Halloween for friends. We have 2 bars with costume contests planned for the night, and I am hoping to do my own thing after the bars close. So I will be the sober ride throughout the night, but I am going to sleep in late on this special day so I can stay up late after the clubs close down and do my own thing after everyone is home and safe.

I got invited to a hockey game and wasn’t really looking forward to it, but I agreed since I didn’t have to drive. We arrived, dealt with a long walk to get to the arena, and it seemed like forever to walk around and get to our seats, but it was worth it! I had no idea they did so many different things during the hockey games, I had only seen some hockey on TV and it seems pretty uninteresting on the boob tube, but when you are actually there you all kinds of other things going on. I enjoyed the videos on the big screen, the band that played in between, even the ice skating cheerleader girls were fun to watch. I almost got a free t-shirt they threw into the crowd but it was just out of reach. I did get to see a couple of little fights and scuffles throughout the game, and I think I will have to go to some more before the season is over!

I thought I would find some pumpkins at the local grocery, but there were only odd shapes and sizes. I ended up at wal mart of all places to get my pumpkins this year. I wish the Halloween stores in town would carry perfect pumpkins, I like doing intricate designs and turning it into a creative day and night, and having perfect pumpkins certainly makes it easier. I also like the way the designs come out when you have a nice smooth surface to work with. Maybe there could be premium pumpkins in a separate section for sale one day.

Where are the good TV shows? Ever since the writers strike theat caused of this reality TV programming to come out, I am really missing the good TV shows that I could count on. Shows like Seinfeld and fun, well written shows are just gone. It seems that the TV stations going the cheap route and moving toward this whole reality TV junk have ruined my relaxation time in front of the tube.

Theonly good shows that I enjoy these dyas are documentary style show you find on Discovery and similar channels. I think there is a huge open opportunity for good, funny TV shows to be made, yet the networks apparently are not catering to the good writers out there, and because of that we in America are expecte to suffer through all this “do something stupid for a chance to win $50,000″ crap. Why don’t they give writers a chance to produce some new shows for a chance to win that money instead so we can get some good shows again!

Have been solicited many times over and over to join a dating website of some kind. One thing I found is that most people do not look anything like the picture they put up and in some cases are not even the same person as the picture they use on thier profle, and this in my opinon is not the way to start off a relationship of any kind. One thing I reccomend to everyone out there looking to start dating is be honest about everything, always. The last thing anyone wants from thier partner is to be lied to. My advice to anyone trying to find that perfect match online is to take it slow make sure you see the person on webcam before ever meeting htem and always meet them in a public place that has alot of people should you want to meet, with the idea that you both are not going anywhere else other than that place.
