During my hunt for new sex toys for the holidays I came across sex toys sex movies site that had exactly what I was looking for, and I found a link to a porno tube type of site that I decided to check out. So I clicked on over to your hot tube porn sharing site and took a peek at some of the lesbian movies that other people have been uploading, and I was quite impressed.

There are some really great sex movies being shared, and I had thought there was very little good porn out there, but after seeing some of the clips there, I decided to try and find the full DVDs online, knowing that some of the movies out there will actually be good, and real, I might have an even more fun time with my new glass dildos that I will be sharing with my girlfriends this winter!

Perhaps with more and more people having access to computers with webcams, we’ll see more and more real homemade sex movies being shared and porn will actually be worth watching!

So today I decided I was going to break down and buy the upgrade for musicmatch jukebox. I had been holding off from this for years, since I bought a version some time ago before yahoo bought it and ruined it. I still a little miffed that I did not get free plus upgrades, and after having a version with dell’s musicmatch and such, I just refused to upgrade it.

After years of not buying it again, today I decided to go ahead and buy the upgrade, or full version, whatever. Well I can’t find it anywhere except for some sponsored results page. This is quite funny actually.

First thing I did was go to musicmatch.com – it redirects me to yahoo music (http://new.music.yahoo.com/ )with no info about musicmatch anywhere. Next I do a google search for it, which takes to me to a page the redirects again to yahoo music. Ugh. On the yahoo music page I do a search for musicmatch – no results, but there are two sponsored results with a link to it(one is http://2008-new.com/musicmatch/ which asks for my email info in step one of the download) – lol!

So I open my musicmatch jukebox by dell and click the upgrade now link – that should work… no. 404 not found. This is unbelievable.

So I go to yahoo.com and search for musicmatch. Certainly their own search engine will find the right page for it right? The first two results tell me no. In fact the second result even shows the 404 error I had seen earlier in it’s description. This is funny.

So I go to snapfiles.com and look for free mp3 ripping software instead. I Choose audiograbber which sounds great. I download it, go ot settings, and find out that Ineed to download the LAME encoder in order tog et mp3 files at a btter bitrate than 56k (which is crazy) – it takes me a while to find the lame encoder, but I find it, download it, unzip it, copy the lame.dll over to the directory where audiograbber was installed. Close and then reopen audiograbber twice, adjust the setting, get the track lists from cd-text (since free db can’t find the listings for this cd) – and off I go. It’s fast, it’s simple to use, not as simple to set up, but hey it’s working. It’s free.

*update – after getting a few CDs ripped I went through and started closing tabs on my browser, taking onelast look at the yahoo music page I do another search onpage (ctrl+F) and look for the word musicmatch in case I missed it; no not found. So I look at the page mad as can be, then hover over “downloads” thinking maybe, just maybe it is there. Well it doesn’t say anything about musicmatch, but it does have a clickable submenu link for “free music player” – so I’m thinking, maybe yahoo has killed muiscmatch and is replacing it with some kind of new fangled generic “free music player”. After clicking, I find a page talking about none other than “music match jukebox” – woo hoo! I found it, and there is a premium version to buy! Wow!

So you can find it here: http://www.musicmatch.com/jukebox/ but why does musicmatch.com redirect to yahoo music?

update – Nov 1 2008 – I was telling a friend about using musicmatch to rip cds, and revisited this post in order to show her where to actually find it, but now it appears to be gone – the download sub-menu now has some rhapsody download instead. This is horrible – they have killed on the best cd ripping / mp3 playing jukeboxes – the old favorite musicmatch jukebox seemed to be gone. Yahoo really screwed the pooch with this deal, I wish they had never bought musicmatch.

So I had to recommend audio grabber to Debbie, she commented that it was downloaded, installed and ripping her CD in about 30 seconds – it is great for that. And winamp is really great for playing mp3s. I have yet to see anything as cool as musicmatch 7.5 – but who knows – maybe someone will step up and release a skin for winamp with the ripping plugins to make it work on that level. Maybe someone already has and I just haven’t seen it yet. I remember using winamp with the crossfade plugin years ago and I was in heaven for the first time with my music listening at home.

This would be funny to see how many people have more enemies than friends. Perhaps it would start more online drama than you already have within the social networks. I mean geeze, you can already hear people bitching about being taken off the top friends, or not being put on the top 4, or getting their #2 position changed out with another friend. Sometimes boyfriends and girlfriends have major issues about who is on their friends list, imagine the drama that could be started by everyone having enemy lists.

And the online social network drama continues.

From the wired campus blog:

Enemybook, that allows users to tag people as “enemies.” Those who use the application make available on their Facebook page their list of foes as well as friends. A photograph of the enemy is depicted along with a list of reasons why the person is despised: He/she hooked up with my ex, insulted my honor, or killed my family, are among the possible explanations.

Enemybook is not the only Web application to mock Facebook. Snubster allows Facebook users to list adversaries. And then there’s Hatebook.com and Hatebook.org.

His New Makeover Mantra: How You Carry Yourself Means More Than Having a Perfect Body

This is really interesting, if we can all learn from this we can not only look better, but feel better too.

In the first clip Kressley showed the audience three different images of women, and asked them to vote on which woman they thought weighed the most.

Each photo was actually of the same woman, but without knowing that the audience chose woman B as the winner.

His point? “We use [the clip] to show some of the women we’re making over that it’s all about how you carry yourself. It’s not only how we see you, but how you see you.”

read more about this cool makeover psychology, I think the idea of the tv show is kind of lame, but the psychology and real world examples will hopefully help many women develop a better posture and attitude, which in turn should make people respond better to them and help create a better self esteem.

So I asked for a portable USB drive for the holidays, I got three of them! That is awesome, because I actually want to fill one with music, another with pictures and have a third for running portable apps like firefox when I find myself at another computer. The big question now is how to find the best way to run these portable apps.

First off, this is not my first USB thumb drive, I have another sandisk cruzer with the U3 launching software, which is pretty cool really, but I found if you use the password feature on it to give some protection from unauthorized access, as of today, it does not work with windows vista, so I was unable to pull up my documents from the thumbdrive onto the new computer at work, which is using vista. I instead had to email myself the docs from another system running xp.

So I am aware that compatibility is an issue sometimes, and so is security. I keep some important documents on my thumbdrive and I want to know that they will be secure if my keys get stolen or lost. A friend was telling about this info box site that has a way to add a virtual encrypted partition to a thumbdrive (if you remove any U3 software that may be on it already), and add portable apps like firefox which I have become accustom to. I may give this one a whirl for the drive I want to put photos on and see how it works.

Then I see an article that talks about a new way run as a virtual pc from a thumb drive, giving me privacy and a safety net for the remote computer I may be using, very cool idea, one I have heard before. I wonder if this is the best way to do this, or if just adding the apps to a thumbdrive and running firefox and thunderbird from the thumbdrive will do the trick anyway. What are the various virtual pc methods for using a thumbdrive for surfing on another system and working with docs, not leaving any info behind?

Virtual PC article I was referring to:

From Yahoo news / Reuters
Virtual PCs add new layer of security

By Jim Finkle Thu Jan 3, 12:38 PM ET

BOSTON (Reuters) – Worried about people accessing your private information whenever you use a public computer? There is a way to protect yourself: Devices as small as a keychain allow you to use any computer without leaving a trail of evidence.

A new computer program known as MojoPac can turn most flash memory sticks, hard drives or iPods into “virtual” PCs that can run most programs that work on Windows XP.

The devices draw on the host computer’s resources — including its electricity, Windows XP software and DVD drive. Yet they retain their independence as they move from machine to machine.

This independence allows people to use public computers without a trace of their session being left behind. PCs typically store a record of activity long after the computer has been turned off.

“It’s a slick way to move from machine to machine,” says Rob Enderle, founder of the Enderle Group, a research firm that follows the PC industry. “It’s about as safe as you can get.”

The device cannot be bought. You have to make it by downloading free software onto a computer drive such as the thumb-sized USB flash memory drives that were so popular as gifts this Christmas. It also works with iPods, many other digital music players and regular external hard drives.

Once the MojoPac shell is created, users need to install their own software — just as they would do on a regular PC running Windows XP.

MojoPac’s developer, RingCube Technologies, asserts that most programs are compatible, including Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop and a slew of free programs.

Other companies are working on similar technology, but there’s nothing available with free software that is as easy to set up as MojoPac, according to Enderle.

MojoPac virtual PCs are not just designed for mobile use. They can protect users who share the same computer. A virus introduced by one user into their MojoPac, or virtual computer, would not affect the rest, according to RingCube.

“If you were to corrupt your virtual world, your host PC would be fine,” says RingCube Senior Vice President Ron DiBiase.

MojoPac is available for free on the company’s Web site, http://www.MojoPac.com.

For now it only works with Windows XP, but the company plans to launch a version this summer that allows users to switch between machines running XP and Vista.

PCs that have been locked by administrators so users cannot install files on them won’t work with MojoPac unless the administrator first installs a small piece of software that is available on the company’s Web site.

And, there are no plans to develop MojoPacs for Mac computers or the Linux operating system, DiBiase said.

While most programs work with MojoPac, one good source for the devices is http://www.PortableApps.com, a site that specializes in offering programs customized for thumb drives.

It lists more than three dozen programs, including software for fighting viruses, backing up data, surfing the Web and viewing documents. There are also programs for word processing, photo editing, spreadsheets and instant messaging.

(Reporting by Jim Finkle)

So what do you suggest? What’s the best way to setup a private surfing usb drive I can use at a friend’s house or the library should the need arise?

I think this is mainly in northern Mexico, and there is much more to the article that I found this snippet from:

Lori Hoffman, a San Diego-area emergency room nurse, said she was sexually assaulted Oct. 23 by two masked men in front of her boyfriend, San Diego Surfing Academy owner Pat Weber, who was forced to kneel at gunpoint for 45 minutes. They were at a campground with about 30 tents, some 200 miles south of the border.

The men shot out windows of the couple’s trailer and forced their way inside, ransacked the cupboards and left with about $7,000 worth of gear, including computers, video equipment and a guitar.

Weber, who has taught dozens of students in Mexico over the last 10 years, plans to surf in Costa Rica or New Zealand. “No more Mexico,” said Hoffman, who reported the attack to Mexican police. No arrests have been made.

Now I know stuff like this can happen any where in the world, but after reading this, I am taking Mexico off of my to vacation list, unless I get to the point where I can hire my own bodyguard posse.

Perhaps this is a way to sell more rapex condoms with teeth to Americans, I can see the convenience store advertising at the border now.

So they say that the stomach flu, or norovirus can be spread from computer keyboards from person to person. In an article from yahoo news / healthday

“There is evidence that shared objects and surfaces help transmit disease,” said Dr. Shua Chai, a CDC epidemiologist and co-author of the report, published in the Jan. 4 issue of the CDC’s Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report.

“This is the first time that we have demonstrated that keyboards and computer mice can be a source of transmission of norovirus,” he added.

Well they suggest regular hand washing as the main way to stop the spread of viruses like this, and they suggest washing your keyboard and mouse with a bleach water as well.

Of course I have other reasons to regularly wash my keyboard, just come home and find your sister picking her nose while surfing myspace and you will know that having some clorox wipes next to the computer is a good idea.

Of course there may be a new market for keyboard protectors… If I could just find them for less than $100, I think paying more than $20 for a keyboard is ridiculous.

Not a big deal waiting in line to get into the club and the new years party was great, nothing too outrageous, and really not worth the jacked up prices fore everything, but none the less a good time. All until it was time to get home, oh my god it was a long cold wait. It took more than an hour to get a cab, and we were stuck outside in the cold the entire time!

Next year we have got to do something different, no way I am going to be stuck downtown waiting in the cold for more than hour to get a ride home. Not this girl, not in any shoes! Or boots for that matter!

So I have one of those guru friends, you know the one that eats wierd food, pracices tai chi and has that calm don’t srtess anything zen kind of attitude. Well he seuggested I get into some ba gua, I had never heard of this martial art mediatation kind of thing, but after an hour long conversation about the future benefits of it, he caonvinced me to look into it. I have not yet been able to find much information about it, but I did just find this DVD about Ba gua, which I may have to order just see some demonstration of what it’s about actually doing it.

Apparently there are not many teachers of this unusual movement system, but you can get similar benefits by doing tai chi, and from what i understand there are many health benefits to these internal martial arts as they are called, so I may do some classes and try to reap some benefits. It sounds great. we’ll see!

So I got a phone call from some friends asking me if I wanted to go the movies. Sure I do, I’m tired of being cooped up in the house and I’d love to get out for a bit, a nice excuse to dress up a bit and see some friends. I had not idea what this alien versus predator movie was about, but any excuse to get out of the house works for me. Well the movie was okay, the people in the theater were a bit annoying, but the popcorn was good.

It was nice to get out and see some people I hadn’t seen in a while, but I think I will be choosing a different theater next time, the seats were not comfortable, and many of the patrons at this particular location were not real manners people. Sorry guys, if you want me to join you next time, you are going to have to find a showtime that fits at another location.

Of course there is an offer there, little is really free easily these days. Now if you read the fine print you find out that you can get a federal mandated yearly free credit report from annual credit report dot com.

The nation of haves and have notes – an interesting poll at the pew research center sheds some light on how different age groups think of themselves as haves and have nots. The funny thing to me is how many people are missing the big picture. I believe there are many people who think they are haves, but do not really see that their future is bleak. With the weakening dollar and the price of everyday items going up, people are not seeing that the future is not so bright for them

Sure it is easy to believe that everything is hunky dory when you have a flat panel tv and an xbox to play, but I know nay people who thought they had it well until they found themselves out of a job and no way to catch up with their current lifestyle. Add to that the lack of good retirement options, and how many people can’t afford the basic health care that should be available, I think with more education and a peek at the bigger picture, polls like this would show that there are many more have nots than people realize.

I found a post about this poll at the random thoughts worpal blog.

You know when you hear a ton of commercial for American gladiators, and they mention American gladiators with grandma in the commercial, that the TV networks are really stretching to make some BS sound like something big.

I was surfing around the web, who knows where I was exactly, or how I got there. It’s one of the things I love about web surfing and all the links from one set of information to another, one search term leading another unintended discovery, it’s a journey sometimes, and certainly not always a destination when I get on the web. Anyhow, perhaps I was in a google image search or something, when I came across this blog that caught my eye, then, I saw a picture of this bed.

Okay, I love the unique look, at first glance I decided very cool! At second glance I realized that it is feng shui positive, so it’s good for energy too, okay, need that. Then saw the price is around 7-$8,000 – well, I won’t be adding that to my shopping cart anytime soon. Then I saw how the wood on the bottom of the bed is really close to the floor, oh I do love the design! And the way they have the pillow headboard attached with the loops, very nice! Wow, what would it take to make something like that? Now, it would have to be done right, can’t have a cheap knock off bed, that would certainly be bad feng shui for sure. Well let’s hope I get a huge bonus one day so I can get my bedroom energy flowing in a more positive direction!

Details from the blog I found the bed on:

Okay, everyone loves the bed. I found it just by googling “feng shui.” Hey, it’s only $7-8,000!! Here’s some more info on it:
The Mantra bed from FEG is an incredible design from Mauro Bertame. The Mantra bed was designed based upon Feng Shui principles. The low threshold and canopy not only look great, but serve a purpose. The low threshold creates a grounding effect. The high arc canopy gives the comfort of a warm embrace. Those of you compelled to involve the Feng Shui principles into your bedroom may want to start with this beautiful piece. A better night’s sleep is not the only benefit of owning this bed. Ordering information is available at EuropeByNet.

The chips have been down, and I simply can not afford to get everyone everything I would like to this year.

In fact, I would like to see every year become a time for handwritten cards sharing meaningful thoughts, that would be fine by me. You can always buy more expensive items for birthdays!

I’m falling in love with him, but I hear all the other girls talking about how nice he is, what a great guy he is. It’s ridiculous to have a guy more popular than me. Not sure I can deal with this in a long term relationship. Yeah he;s a great guy, but damn, girls all flocking to him will certainly cause all kinds of issues in the future.

We all want a good looking guy, but don’t want to have a million women swarming them. I recently heard that in my town there is 9 women to every 1 woman, it could be worse, I’ve been told of places in the U.S. that have a 12:1 ratio.

It’s no wonder that with these kind of odds many women would take issue with their man being so popular. What to do, what to do.

Sometimes I like that they all like him, better than being with a guy that everyone hates, but geeze do they have to make it so obvious all the time?

Well this Halloween I am donating my time. I will be the designated driver for the crew. It’s my favorite holiday and I am deciding to give a little what many people would call Christmas spirit in giving a good safe Halloween for friends. We have 2 bars with costume contests planned for the night, and I am hoping to do my own thing after the bars close. So I will be the sober ride throughout the night, but I am going to sleep in late on this special day so I can stay up late after the clubs close down and do my own thing after everyone is home and safe.
