This sort of thing is bound to happen. However, it does not have to be a bad thing. People need to better their screening techniques, such as asking for more pictures, longer periods of time before the first date, phone conversations, etc...

If a person can find out in a relatively short amount of time that the person they were corresponding to is being disingenuous, then really, they are the one to benefit because now they now that they averted spending more time with a liar.

There are signs to watch out for and I think most people know what to look out for once they've encountered it. At that point, you have a new radar about you and can quickly say, "NEXT".

I say, let the liars do what they do, lie. And the rest of us will benefit from it because we will be avoiding them like the plague.

This seems a reasonable supposition to me. As I see it, payment does not necessarily need to be in "material goods". Commerce can be in the form of either goods and/or services.

The study also seems to reflect human commerce in that as the availability of females increases, the time spent grooming in exchange for sex decreases, just as an increase goods or services in the commercial world decreases the market value of these commodities.

I agree

"One thing I found is that most people do not look anything like the picture they put up and in some cases are not even the same person as the picture they use on thier profle, and this in my opinon is not the way to start off a relationship of any kind"

This all happens and it will continue to happen this is why there are very lonly people out there
